Graduation Night 2013 (Part 2~ The Journey to Graduation)

Hi guys, I am back with another post! :)

So my graduation was at the Grand Ballroom of Impiana Hotel, Ipoh. :) Though it may not be the biggest or grandest but I'm contented with the decided venue especially after it had been totally transformed by the lovely grad night crew :)

This post is all about my journey in Methodist Girls School.  It has been a great eleven years; being there since seven and now I'm seventeen!

Despite being in an all girls' school, I have found many many great friends and teachers here! I know a lot of people think it is really dull and boring to live my life, seeing all girls every day for so many years. I get that a lot. :/ But I am proud to say that I have never one second regretted it! :)

I always thought she was quite a hot tempered teacher, but it turns out she is such a kind and friendly one! :)

These whole bunch of friends I found; they are my angels! ❤ They never let me do stupid things alone; we always do them together! :') 

People usually get this idea that if we place too many girls/ females together there will sure be drama! Hmm up till now, there haven't been anything dramatic in my school! Of course, as friends, we do quarrel and argue at times, but all those are just for the sake of entertaining ourselves; over petty problems like stepping on each other shoes; and ending up laughing at one anothers' stupidity. And drama? We do have this awesome school drama team made up of awesome casts, is that what you mean by drama? No? Um then I've never experienced anything else besides from that kind of drama in this school of mine ❤

Foo, or do you prefer JingYi, don't ever feel bad for being yourself because thats what make each and every one of us unique. Don't get hurt so easily by what other people think of you, you are who you are. Besides, if we didn't have you, we wouldn't have anyone to complain about, so you will always be remembered :)
P.S. Maybe you should just try and control a TINY BIT of your raging hormones la.

Furthermore, being in an all girls' means that we ,or maybe it's just me, can do a lot of silly things and go all barmy in front of my bunch of friends without feeling shy or embarrassed. 

With Karhuey! The very kind girl, always there for me, lending a helping hand! Love you!

Eewen. Please don't get angry at me, but the only word i can use to describe you would be feisty! You can be so angry at someone so much but in the end, you would always forgive them.  You can never be bullied (or is it just me who can never bully you?) You can also turn out to be really funny and lively at times. Love you!

These friends of mine, they have been through thick and thin, storm and rain with me. We support and encourage each other in whatever we do! I cant possibly ask for more because they are my kind of perfect! ❤

Mrs Wu. (Kristal?) Lol. Such a pretty egg! I am really glad I got to know you. You can be so straightforward, so funny, so unique, so Tan, I sometimes wished I had your bravery to say the things on my mind! Love you! 

They try their best not to get any of their friends hurt. We protect each other. We care for each other. And if one of us ever gets hurt, we are always there to help her heal her wounds. We are one another's source of strength and refuge. 

The Class Monitor, Liang! A running man fan; often sleeps in class. But when she's awake, you don't even have to look. You can hear her voice even from the other end of the class! :)
By the way, you lied about wearing a dress to graduation! Grr. Anyway, you looked cool in that suit, I bet a lot of girls fell for you if they didn't know you were liang lol. Such a heart breaker tsk.

Cheralyn :) A great listener, I miss all our heart to heart sessions together!

With them, I can never be certified insane because the asylum would not have enough space for such a great bunch would they? Even if they do, we can all go as a cool group. They never fail to make me laugh. Sometimes my tummy hurts so much, it's probably helping me burn all the calories in there.

Viann. I think I inherited your skills of saying lame stuff. I don't know why I couldn't control myself from saying things that doesn't make sense at all gosh. Its all your fault! Anyway, I love you to pieces! Stay awesome la ok. Give me all your lameness. Then maybe i give kc la haha

All these beautiful memories created and carefully stored in my mind are all thanks to my awesome gorgeous friends. Each and every single one of you. You know who you are :) no matter we come from the same class or we don't. I am really glad we got to cross paths with each other! :) I owe it every single one of you ❤❤❤

Finally! Did I tell you guys how much I loveeee this photo? But its not as deep as the love I have for you guys! Kamen and Fungxin, thanks for being my best friend (since you girls are 2 in 1). You have always been there for me during my bad times, I sometimes wonder if I am doing enough to repay how you treat me. You girls make me feel like a princess at times, so lucky to have you both! I sound like your mother now gosh. I love you all so so much, gorgeous ladies!

If only I could freeze time, I would freeze this period. The time of my life is the years I had in MGS. And it's coming to an end. I will definitely miss you all! Friends, teachers. Even the empty building. ❤❤❤ 

I can never thank you people enough; and I dont want this post to be too long because we all know it would take forever.

 P.S Being in an all girls' also mean that we would never have to fight over the hottest guy in school! ;)

Thoughts and Resolutions #1

Disclaimer: This whole chain of posts are entirely my thoughts (which can be really random or even clash with your chain of thoughts).

So, well I decided to start this chain of all my thoughts and resolutions. More to thoughts. You know, how girls being girls, think a lot more; sometimes too much and hence we resolve to letting it all out. For instance, I am not only sharing my thoughts, through this post I can also let it all out and have you (blog and readers) be here with me. :) 

This post is a bit on the down side so if you are really happy today, come back tomorrow. :) Better not let me bring you down. Believe me, it's not really a moody post. Just some random thoughts.

Just on Tuesday, it was my late granduncle's birthday. To be really honest, I really really miss him a lot. Life is really fragile. One day you see him and the next moment you see him suffering on the hospital bed, trying to gasp for air. It was really heart rending. Just a few months ago, he was still fetching me to extra ballet classes and tuition. He's been there my whole life, since birth. He was my grandpa (well don't get too confused; he's my grandma's elder brother /but I treat him like my own grandpa just because.. its pretty complicated/). 

'Jo Yi, today your 'Kau Kung' has been admitted to the hospital cause he had fever few days already. Maybe tonight we visit him la ok? He should be up and about soon,'

'Jo Yi, 'Kau Kung' will be back to work on Monday. He just called.'

And I didn't think that it would be so quick. Things would escalate so fast. I never knew. That night, when we arrived at the hospital, I felt teary. I was afraid. When the lift doors opened, it confirmed my fears. Everyone's eyes were burning red; effects from continuous crying. As I approached him, he was there, struggling, hanging onto his life, tears started pouring down my face like an uncontrollable tap. He was having cramps. I tried holding it in, I tried staying strong just so the other family members didn't have to feel sad for me; and themselves. The doctors haven't arrived. It's been a few hours. Why aren't they efficient? Don't they realise that someone's life is at stake right now? Or are they too used to people getting sick?

My grandmother was launched into tremendous despair. You know how depressing it is to feel so sad inside and yet you see your other family members crying so much? So we decided to go home. Once at home, we got THE CALL. He was declared to have left us all. :'(

Believe me, I understand how it feels to lose someone. Losing someone is really heart breaking. Especially for eternity. Through time, we will realise we are only left with memories. As the saying goes, though we are far apart, you are always in my heart! ❤  

P.S 'Kau Kung' is used to refer our grandmother's (maternal) brother in Cantonese. 

Hence, my resolution today is that I must cherish and treasure all my dearest family and friends. I love you all! ❤
